Miami Vice
I was too tired to blog about yestd despite that i have things to talk about. Met up with sean to window shop around becos i didnt get anything and caught Miami Vice. Miami Vice is just a " OKAY " hollywood movie. I expected more from the movie. however, for those who loves action movies , this will disappoint you. I think is more of sexual than action . alright, depends what kind of action u are talking about . Sexual plots involve action too. Miami Vice is just like any movie about drug trafficking and then in the end all was caught by the polices. The undercover cops was played by Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx. The whole story was abt the cops found out this illegal organization who practice drug trading " business" and the police stole the drugs from them. Then they send undercovers to the illegal organzation to do business with them. The colin and jamie told them that the lost drugs was with them. Met to trade for money in the end. Gong Li came in the middle. Her parts are always horrible, always involve sex. Everytime she met colin in the movie they either have sex if not kisses each other. And it reminded me of memiors of a geisha she acted in. Also involving sex half the time. I think she improved so much in speaking clearer in English. When she acted in the geisha, seriously dunno what the hell was she talking. Seriously thought that she in very useless in miami but she has got the attitude acting as a business women. For Colin's and Jamie's part i think they did quite ok as an undercover. The ending was the best from the movie. A lot of violence and shooting. then colin saved gong li from being caught for being part of the organisation. Then the last part colin and gong li got seperated cos colin say they can never to be together. Seriously ... the first part i almost fell asleep and the damn cinema was so cold that makes me fell asleep. HAHHA... i think mediacorp can do better for such shows abt drug trafficking. I'm so sleepy now. |
